Today Jesus gives us a list of commands… turn the other cheek, give the shirt off of your back, walk an extra mile, and then, if those weren’t difficult enough, he ends his list with “be perfect, as your Father is perfect.” I like being perfect as much (maybe more) than the next guy, but this just seems a little impossible. What is Jesus getting at here? And what does it really mean to “Love our neighbor?”
